As a NextGen EPM Trainer & Go-Live Specialist you’ll work closely with our customers to identify and implement deliverables and outcomes, as agreed upon in your statement of work. In addition to this NextGen project work, you will help share your NextGen knowledge with our customer’s full-time team, mentor employees as needed, escalate issues, and generally ensure the client success.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

  • A NextGen EPM Trainer & Go-Live Specialist is part of a collaborative team, responsible for the successful implementation of NextGen Enterprise applications.
  • Work directly with Project Managers, Project Leads, Program Director, and the NextGen implementation team to achieve successful integrated implementations.
  • Provide customer support and guidance; per the needs of assigned projects or solutions including NextGen Enterprise EPM, EHR and ancillary or integrated solutions. 
  • Supports build team resource activities with clinical operations to ensure the clinical perspective is integrated into the validation session, design, build and testing of new solutions.
  • Is responsible for day-to-day project training and go-live tasks, to ensure the team’s on-time completion of deliverables and achievement of milestones.
  • Responsible for allocated tasks and actions, with keen focus on time management.
  • Assists with issue resolution and risk mitigation efforts to ensure customer issues are resolved and/or escalated to appropriate parties for resolution.
  • Identifies barriers to projects’ success and supports risk management planning.
  • Provides resource support and collaborates on workgroup-specific project tasks.
  • Identifies and communicates status/progress, updates, and any constraints to Project Management; ensuring key actions are identified and implemented.
  • Participates in team meetings to discuss project related activities, issues, changes, communications, and updates.
  • The NextGen EPM/EHR Trainer & Go-Live Specialist reports directly to the Ambulatory Solutions Manager and works well in collaboration with Project Managers, Project Leads, and other project team members.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Job Requirements

  • NextGen Certification on NextGen EPM at a minimum.
  • Minimum Five (5) years of experience in NextGen Enterprise
  • Previous end-to-end experience in a NextGen training/go-live support role,
  • Demonstrated experience with NextGen EPM and/or EHR Training, including ancillary products (ex. NGShare, NG Mobile, Portal, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience with NextGen EPM/EHR Go-Live Support (in-person/on-site or remote with providers, clinical support staff, Front Desk, etc.) - may include Net New and Upgrades.
  • Workflow assessments/gap analysis to capture current state workflows and make recommendations on future state/best practice workflows.
  • Create/Update Training Agendas and Guides for end users.
  • Knowledge of EPM/EHR, clinical documentation, and standard systems interface technologies.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically with problem-solving methodologies.
  • Relationship building and maintaining with customers.
  • Time and Expense tracking.
  • Travel 75% or more.

 

Highly Preferred Experience

  • NextGen Certified Professional (NCP) for EHR, Document Manager
  • Experience with NextGen Office
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or related field.
